Hello all - every 1st of September, we walk to the park nearby and spend sometime celebrating spring. But they have dug big trenches in the walk / road ways towards the park and we were worried our children would get hurt. so we came up with a plan. We will enjoy spring in the garden here. We made a picnic / play type of day. The children had fruit and lunch outside as well as we all had an ice-cream. The children enjoyed it so much - here are some photos of them enjoying their ice-creams.

First - A very prosperous New year to all.

Then a happy valentines Day.
As we always do, we went for a valentines day walk first around the Educare so the young ones could share in the fun,

Then the Grade O and R classes walked down to Zakhele Clinic where we asked the Sister in charge to come out and accept a certificate of appreciation on behalf of Bonginkosi and the community as well as a gift box filled with coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a box of biscuits. We want our children to be grateful for their service. We sang to them and after a few hugs we left. The sister in charge was very emotional and said the children are beautiful.

We walked onto the Lingelethu West Police station where we asked the station commander to come out so we could sing and also hand over a gift box and certificate the him and his staff. They said they the most blessed station in all the provinces having our children recognize them in the work they do. They enjoyed the children singing to them, thanked us and wished us well. Then all the children got a dollylick to walk back to Bonginkosi. We tried to capture all the children so there are a lot of photos - hope you see your angel in one.
