What a weekend!!
Our Youth and Elite Championships were held on Saturday, April 12 at Swartberg Primary School in Caledon. 🥊🥊🔥🔥💪💪💥💥
The event brought together boxers, coaches, officials, and supporters from across our region and beyond. We cannot be anything else than proud of the ongoing growth and development of boxing in Overberg!!
A huge thank you everybody that participated in any way - in or off the ring - making this event a success!! ❤️❤️❤️ Now we are looking forward to bringing Team Overberg to the Western Province Championships in Mosselbay on May 3-4.👊

Great work Coach Conroy Clint Williams from Barrydale Fight Club! 🥊🥊🥊

🎉 What a cracker of a day at Bright Haven School! 🥊

We’re beyond excited to welcome Mr. Conroy Williams to our volunteer crew! Today, he kicked off the Fight Club with our boys at BF Oosthuizen Primary and let me tell you the energy was electric! ⚡️

In just 90 minutes, we had 9 eager little boxers, ready to channel all that well-developed testosterone and fighting spirit! 😂💪 The boys had a blast, sweating it out and leaving the ring utterly knackered but buzzing for the next session.

This is what it’s all about—charities working together to make a difference! A massive shoutout to Conroy for going the extra mile and spending quality time with our boys. We can’t wait for the next class! 🙌🇿🇦

This Saturday, on the 12th of April, The Overberg 2025 Youth & Elite Amateur Boxing Championships will take place!!!
Boxers from all the clubs in the district will battle it out in Caledon at the Swartberg Primary School.
