This International Pride Month 2026, under the World Pride themes “A World United in Pride” and “Right to Love,” Impulse Cape Town stands proudly with LGBTQIA+ communities across South Africa and the world in celebrating love, identity, dignity, and freedom.

We believe that every person deserves the right to love openly, live authentically, and exist safely without fear, discrimination, or violence.

Pride is not only a celebration of how far we have come, but also a reminder of the ongoing fight for equality, inclusion, mental wellness, and human rights for all.

As Impulse Cape Town, we remain committed to building safer, healthier, and more empowered communities through education, advocacy, support, and unity.

Advocating for mental health means recognising the real impact it has on our bodies, communities, and quality of life.

We must continue creating safe spaces, reducing stigma, and encouraging access to support and care for all. A healthier society begins when we treat mental health with the same importance as physical health.

Impulse Cape Town recently visited the Triangle Project Office for an essential training on HIV testing and counseling.
We focused on the critical importance of pre- and post-HIV testing counseling, ensuring every person receives compassionate support.

This training equips our Impulse team to better assist and uplift the community, ensuring we advocate for care, dignity, and education in every step of their journey.
