Equal Education UCT Society The UCT branch of the national organisation that aims to raise awareness of the crisis in education through student activism. This is ours.

Equal Education is a movement of learners, parents, teachers and community members working for quality and equality in South African education, through analysis and activism. Led by young activists, EE builds an understanding of the educational system, whilst drawing attention to problems faced by schools and their communities. EE equips people with this knowledge and offers a new way for them to

participate in the democratic system and bring change to education and society. The UCT branch of this organisation aims to raise awareness through student activism. The Equal Education Society offers an opportunity for young people to understand the crisis in education through political education as well as the chance to become actively involved in the struggle for quality education in South Africa. This page will keep you updated on the talks, demonstrations and meetings happening as part of the Equal Education Society, the national movement and those of our partner organisations. Every generation has its struggle.
