EarlyAct District 9350

EarlyAct District 9350 Rotary's EarlyAct is a community service and leadership programme for primary school children.

EarlyAct is the youngest member of the Rotary family and can be seen as a precursor to Interact. In South Africa, Rotary's EarlyAct operates as a voluntary club for children aged 5 to 12 years old. 53 schools already have thriving EarlyAct clubs in the District. Rotary's EarlyAct is run by teachers, and they have the freedom to make the programme fit their unique school circumstances. It takes jus

t three people to make a Rotary EarlyAct club work:
A keen principal
A motivated teacher
A Rotarian mentor liaison from the club's sponsoring Rotary club

Rotary assists the EarlyAct club with seed capital for projects, access to projects and information, skills and experience. District 9350 has set up an easily accessible support structure and roadmap to starting an EarlyAct club, including a step-by-step manual. Please feel free to contact us should you be interested in starting an EarlyAct club at your school.
