πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ CONFESSIONS OF AN EX-INVESTIGATING OFFICER: How We Framed Your Sons
(a true confession)

I use to be an investigating officer in SAPS. I didn't just see the system, I saw the rot from the inside. And let me tell you how the game is actually played.

It’s not about justice. It’s about numbers. It’s about quotas.

When a docket needs to be closed or when someone with influence wants a problem to go away, do you think the system cares about the truth? No!! They look for an easy target. A young man, a vulnerable man, someone without the cash to buy their way out.

They cook the files. They fabricate the charges. False r**e, false attempted r**e, armed robbery whatever fits the docket. They throw many men into Pollsmoor, knowing damn well the paperwork is'nto a lie. They throw them into a concrete hellhole to be broken, while the real criminals, the ones with deep pockets, are out on the streets sharing a laugh with the very officers who swore to lock them up.

And I stood there and watched it happen.

I didn't forge the signatures, but I let the machine run. I kept quiet because that's just how the system works. Well, let me tell you something, when you protect a corrupt system, the universe comes to collect the debt.

I left SAPS and I lost everything. My career, my stability, my peace. God stripped me bare to show me that you cannot build a life on the foundation of silent complicity.

Now I’m walking the straight and narrow. It’s a lonely road and it’s hard as hell. But my eyes are wide open now.

To my former colleagues still wearing that badge, hiding behind the blue wall of silence while you destroy innocent families. I see you. Your pension won’t save your soul.

And to the rest of Cape Town stop cheering for arrest statistics when those statistics are built on the bodies of framed men.

The truth is out, the books are dirty and the bill is coming due.

A psychologist once placed two identical cars in different neighborhoods.
One in the Bronx, one in Palo Alto.

The Bronx car was stripped clean in hours.
The Palo Alto car was untouched for a week.

Then, the psychologist smashed one window on the Palo Alto car.
Within hours, the car was destroyed.
Tires slashed. Radio ripped out. Completely gutted.

One broken window changed everything. This is called the Broken Windows Theory, and it applies to you and your community too

You think the small stuff doesn't matter, IT DOES!

It's quietly killing your morals, infrastructure and ultimately our community
