Today is about more than celebrating girls. It’s about recognising the challenges girls face and making sure they have the same opportunities to learn, grow, speak up and shape their own futures.

Komani believes menstrual dignity is part of that. It’s about creating an environment where no girl is held back because of her gender or her period.

Today we ask you to play your part. Speak openly about menstrual health. Challenge the stigma. Support the girls in your community. Partner with us.

Did you know that TUF has been serving our TUF Seniors for the past 13 years?

The Umtshayelo Foundation (TUF) has been serving our TUF Seniors, providing a space where older persons can come together and remain actively engaged in their community. It’s a place for connection and friendship.

Today, we’re celebrating our TUF Seniors and the wonderful community they’ve built over the years.

What started as an idea just a little over a month ago became a reality last Saturday! 🥂 🛍️

We hosted our very first Sip & Thrift at the Home of TUF, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who hosted a rail and to every single person who came through our doors to support, connect and enjoy the good vibes.

The dream is to create a community based space, a place where we can come together, support each other, connect, share and just be!

And this is only the beginning. Our first of many!

So keep your eyes peeled for the next Sip & Thrift. We can’t wait to do it all again!

Road triiippp! 🚚 📦 🌸

We trekked across the West Coast, delivering 1,350 packs to our girlies.

Each pack can last up to 3 years, replacing roughly 400 disposable pads for one girl - pads that don’t need to be bought, used once and thrown away.

That’s 1,350 packs × 400 = 540,000 disposable pads potentially kept out of landfill. 🌍♻️

Thank you TotalEnergies in South Africa for partnering with us and helping us create impact that lasts.

❤️ HEARTS BEHIND THE HOPE | PARTNERS WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

This week, we want to shine a light on the people who make it possible for Ladies of Hope to keep doing what we do.

We are incredibly grateful to HellermannTyton, one of our valued partners, and especially Sunita, who connected us with Komani, a social enterprise focused on menstrual health, dignity and sustainable reusable sanitary products.

Through this connection, 250 boxes of reusable pads were donated to Ladies of Hope. Although Komani is based in Cape Town, Sunita went the extra mile to ensure the donation made its way to Johannesburg—and yesterday, she joined us to personally guide the ladies through how to use the products.

This is what partnership looks like: one connection, one act of kindness, and a ripple effect that reaches women in our community.
