A 3-hour drive there, and a 3-hour drive back… but every single moment in between made it more than worth it ❤️

We recently spent the day at the Spirit Foundation ECD’s Bonnie People ECD in Bonnievale and what a day it was.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy only children can bring. We played games, shared laughs, and simply spent time being present with some of the most vibrant little personalities.

From playing Red Rover to racing on mini plastic motorbikes, the day was filled with nonstop laughter, excitement, and unforgettable moments.

A special thank you to Spirit International Football Academy for transporting us there and back safely - we’re incredibly grateful for your support in making moments like this possible.

Yesterday, thanks to incredible support from PEP, we were able to deliver meaningful winter relief where it’s needed most. ❄️

36 of the Spirit Foundation Grade R scholars at Bonnievale Primary School each received a pair of closed-toe school shoes, along with two long-sleeve school shirts - ensuring they are better prepared to stay warm, comfortable, and ready to learn during the colder months.

To support beyond the classroom, we put together meal parcels for each family, carrying essentials such as rice, pap, beans, and peanut butter to help ease the added pressure this winter.

One of the highlights was many of the kids striking their best poses for the camera 📸🕺😁

This afternoon was a special one 🤍

We spent time packing food parcels, school shirts, and shoes for 36 Grade R learners at Bonnievale Primary School - getting ready for winter.

And honestly… the highlight? The shoes 👞
They are SO small. Like properly tiny. We kept picking them up and just thinking about how cute these little humans must be.

But it was also a reminder of why this matters. Because each pair of those tiny shoes, and the tiny feet that will fill them, carry a future far greater.

These parcels will support not just the learners, but their families too - taking a bit of pressure off this winter.

Grateful for every single person who made this possible.

Day 2 of Project Eudaimonia ❤️‍🔥🐣

Over 250 meals served and hearts touched this Easter.

We started the day with around 100 individuals experiencing homelessness - sharing not just meals, but dignity and connection - before heading into Parkwood to serve the community there.

From warm meals to Easter eggs 🐣🍫, today was about showing up, spreading love, and reminding people that they are seen.

And just like that… Day 1 of 2 for Project Eudaimonia is complete 🍝🔥

Over 25kgs of pasta salad - not just food, but care, dignity, and intention in every step.

This is the power of showing up.
Of choosing action.
Of coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

To everyone who gave their time and energy today - thank you. This is only the beginning.

We didn’t plan to go back so soon… but Khayelitsha had other plans for us ❤️

After the warmth and connection we experienced last weekend, we had to return.

This time, we spent meaningful moments at Mzamomhle Old Age Home - talking, listening, sharing stories… and of course, singing 🎶

One of the most special parts? Seeing the beautiful beadwork created at Mzamomhle - from intricate earrings to handcrafted keyrings. A true reflection of creativity, resilience, and pride ✨

Because sometimes, impact looks like presence.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to the Petersen family for their generous donation of 180 meals - which we were able to share throughout our time in Khayelitsha, from Mzamomhle to those we encountered along the way.

👕 We also donated 4 full bags of clothing to Mzamomhle.

Different moments. Different people. One community.

If this moved you, share it - let’s remind more people what showing up can do.

This is how we spent Human Rights Day. ❤️

In Khayelitsha, alongside the children at Edyardini Community Development - an organisation doing the vital, everyday work of caring for its community.

We donated over 10 bags, full of clothing and shoes, contributed R3500, and committed to cover the gas for their soup kitchen - helping ensure that meals continue to reach children through to February next year.

Human rights are not only defined in policy, but in practice - in whether dignity is felt, needs are met, and people are supported.

We are grateful to stand alongside work that continues long after the day has passed.

Human Rights Day 🇿🇦

Today, we reflect on our past - from the injustice of pass laws to the countless struggles that denied people their basic dignity and freedom.

But remembrance alone is not enough.

Human rights are not just something we honour once a year - they are something we must actively protect, uphold, and fight for every single day. From access to basic needs, to dignity, equality, and opportunity - the work is far from over.

Keep your eyes on this space to see what we’re up to for Human Rights Day 👀
