We didn’t just deliver goods, we delivered hope🫶

Over the course of our Apple Run in March, we were able to deliver:

🍎56 boxes of apples�
📚 6 big boxes of stationery kits�
🪥 307 toothbrushes and toothpaste�
🌸 36 little boxes of sanitary products�
👕 Clothes and school uniforms

Every item delivered represents the kindness of someone who chose to give, support, and be part of something good.

752 BEANIES!!!💛🧶🥳

Members of our team returned from the Karoo yesterday, and the smiles and joy on those little faces were absolutely priceless.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who made our Beanie Drive possible. Whether you knitted on your own, knitted with your group, donated wool, or made a financial contribution - you helped make sure that children in Fraserburg are a little warmer this winter.

Every single one has been knitted by hand by people with a heart for doing good! And we are so grateful for the love, time, and care that went into each one.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to our first Be The Good Beanie Drive of the year. Whether you knitted one beanie or many, your kindness will help keep a child in the Karoo a little warmer this winter. These handmade beanies will very soon be making their way to children in the Karoo.

There is still time to get involved in our second Beanie Drive of the year, happening later this winter. If you knit, or know someone who does, we would love for you to be part of it🫶

Many children in the Karoo rely on their school kitchen for meals during the school term. But when schools close for the holidays, the kitchen closes too, and that support becomes much harder to access.

That’s where our incredible Fraserburg supporters, Louise and Willem, step in. They continue helping to keep these children fed during the school holidays, and we are collecting quick-cooking pantry staples to support their efforts.

Every contribution helps provide care, comfort, and a full tummy when it’s needed most. Thank you for helping us make a difference - one meal at a time🍏🥫🫶

Why do I Give?

During our drop-off in Fraserburg, we spoke to Louise and Willem to hear the heart behind their involvement. People like this are a big part of the heart of the Fraserburg community and are the true backbone of the food initiatives for Karoo children... Every small act of kindness ripples further than we think 📚🍎💚
