Join us in the garden next week Wednesday for our bi-monthly Eco Hub volunteer day! These are a great way to get involved and contribute to our urban greening efforts and spend a mid-week morning in the sun. 💚

Ahead of , we joined our at Two Oceans Foundation and for a beach clean-up at Lagoon Beach.
We were met with an alarming amount of waste, including clothing, shoes, tins, toys, needles, and countless pieces of plastic bottles. We quickly rolled up our sleeves and got to work, and together, we collected an incredible 832 kg of waste.

Sadly, our water resources continue to suffer from the impacts of littering, particularly following recent storms. Let this serve as a reminder that our streets, homes, communities, and stormwater drains are not rubbish bins. What we discard on land often ends up in our rivers, wetlands, and oceans.

Together, we can protect our waterways and keep our coastlines clean.
