With the United Nations officially declaring that famine is present in Gaza, the Palestinian Resistance Factions have appealed to the international and Arab community to end their humiliating silence and break the Israeli entity’s starving siege.

It says the declaration of famine in Gaza City is a call for states who are party to the Geneva Conventions to take immediate action in accordance with famine response protocols. These include immediate humanitarian intervention and the opening of safe corridors for the unconditional entry of food and medicine.

The Palestinians also issued a plea to the Arab and Islamic nations to move away from simply making statements and to instead take practical steps that will break the stranglehold on Gaza to save what remains of the people there.

It further notes that the battle of Gaza is not the battle of the Palestinians alone, but the battle of everyone in confronting the imminent danger the Israeli entity poses to the entire Middle East region. It's referring to the settler colonial entity's expansionist project.
