A story can be more than a story. šŸ“ššŸ¦

It can open a conversation.
It can teach courage.
It can encourage kindness.
And sometimes, it can simply remind a child that their voice matters.

Luna the Lion Cub was created through Roots&Ropes Publication with a simple purpose: to introduce young readers to meaningful life lessons through storytelling and imagination.

Recently, Luna had the opportunity to reach young readers at Liyabonga/Sunshine Library and Seven Steps Academy for the Deaf. ā¤ļø

Seeing a self-published book move from the pages into the hands of young readers is incredibly meaningful to me.

This is why I continue to create.

Some things begin with a vision.

Others begin with a child. ā¤ļø

Roots&Ropes began with a desire to give young people something I believe every child deserves: encouragement, guidance, positive role models, and the confidence to know that their story matters.

What started close to home has grown into books, storytelling, library visits, mentorship ideas and a growing vision for boys who need someone to remind them that they have purpose.

I may be building Roots&Ropes for many young lives now, but I will never forget where the seed was planted.
