Late Post Update | 25 March 2025 ⚽

On 25 March 2025, our wonderful grannies and grandfathers from Windmillpark and Vosloorus proudly took part in a soccer match at Thembisa Sport Ground against the Thembisa team.

It was a day filled with excitement, teamwork, and community spirit. Our Gugothandayo grannies won their match 3–2, showing incredible strength, determination, and passion on the field. The celebrations continued as our grandfathers’ team from Vosloorus also secured an outstanding 10–0 victory. 🏆⚽

The energy throughout the day was truly inspiring. In the first half, the players showed great strength, excellent passing, and strong teamwork. Everyone present enjoyed the match, and our elders were full of joy and excitement.

After the games, we shared refreshments and took memorable photos together, making the day even more special. While it is a late post, we could not let this proud moment pass without sharing it. We remain committed to supporting our elders through sport, wellness, and community engagement.

We also continue to seek support for transport assistance and soccer kits so that more elders can participate without financial barriers.

Late Post Update | 27 March

On the 27th of March, the children from Mathulana Foundation had a wonderful and memorable outing filled with joy, learning, and excitement.

They had the opportunity to see beautiful animals up close and enjoy a truly enriching experience. We are sincerely grateful to Uncle John (Big John) for providing the tickets that made this special day possible. Each ticket also included a R50 voucher, which made the day even more special for the children.

At Mathulana Foundation, we cherish moments like these because they create lasting memories and give our children opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.

Although this is a late post, we could not let such a beautiful day go unshared. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help us create meaningful experiences for young lives.
