When we started MYCDO, we just wanted to give one more child a dry place to sleep, a book to read, a chance to dream.

Today, our work has been recognized nationally.

💔 HEARTBREAKING NEWS THIS MORNING 💔

As we rose this morning, we received news that broke our hearts.

A family in Phase 4 — a father, his girlfriend and their 3 small children — could not sleep last night.

The rain poured through the roof of their shack.
Everything got wet. The beds, the bedding, the clothes.
The children sat cold and scared while the water came in everywhere.

They have nothing to fix it with. No money. No dry place to go.

This morning they woke up to a home that is soaked, and to another day of rain coming.

As MYCDO we cannot turn away.

WE PLEAD WITH YOU:
This family urgently needs 9 x 6meter roof sheets to cover their home and keep the rain out.

If your heart is moved, please help.
