Thank you all for your prayers.
The past few days have been scary and painful beyond words but God showed up for me in ways that I cannot fathom nor explain.
I nearly died. I nearly lost my life and probably would’ve if I wasn’t rushed to th hospital on Sunday. All this 7 minutes away from the next venue and 6 more gigs left.
The biggest lesson that I learnt? To listen to
My body and that there is no honour in working yourself
To death. What good would all that hard work be if I were dead?!
But also, that I am Human and not a robot.
My
husband, parents, siblings ,my children and all my loved one deserve a happier and healthier version of Me.
I'm back home and overcame the worst, my body fought hard-l fought hard.
l'll be taking time off to heal and reconnect.
Ps. This very picture was used to try and body shame me and the jokes on that person because I DELIBERATELY said to my audience in Bloem that I wore that dress for a reason- to prove to them that I am normal-with cellulite and stretchmarks,that women in all shapes and sizes should embrace their bodies in whatever form.
I gained weight and wasn’t going to try and hide it.
So to have a woman try and use it to belittle me is even more insane! Women’s month hasn’t even ended yet Mama- didn’t you get the memo? Mean girls aren’t cool anymore and using a time where the person you are at war with alone (who doesn’t know nor care or of your existence) is FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE IN HOSPITAL is low even for her.
I cannot for the life of me,sit here and give SATAN anymore AirPlay. I am in no position to give the devil herself the attention she so desperately craves for because my body has literally been through so much trauma between Sunday and now.
How I am able to type this is a miracle when I nearly tried twice in a span of hours.
Lost so much blood that my Dr was considering a blood transfusion is beyond me.
I’ll tell you this ,Modimo o teng and ga nyake ka bana ba g*e. ❤️
Anyone else and their projections is not for me to fight nor understand.
Please tell that woman I send her healing coz her case is a special one. I pray she finds not only herself but God too.
