Some wounds don’t leave bruises. Some scars are invisible.

Too often, we ask why someone stayed, without understanding what they endured while they were there. The truth is that leaving an abusive relationship is rarely a single decision. It’s a journey filled with fear, self-doubt, manipulation, hope, and heartbreak.

At A Heart to Help, we stand with survivors without judgment. We understand that every story is different, and every step toward freedom takes immense courage.

If you’re still finding your way out, know that you are not alone. If you’ve made it out, your strength matters. And if someone trusts you enough to share their story, listen with compassion rather than criticism.

Support. Understanding. Hope.

That’s where healing begins. 💜

💜 Meet 💜

Behind many of the photos, videos, and stories shared by A Heart to Help is Tazz – a passionate creative who believes that every story deserves to be seen and every voice deserves to be heard.

Through photography, videography, and social media, Tazz helps shine a light on the incredible work being done to support women, children, and families affected by violence. Every image captured and every story shared is an opportunity to raise awareness, inspire action, and remind survivors that they are not alone.

For Tazz, being involved with A Heart to Help is about more than content creation. It’s about using creativity as a tool for change, giving a platform to those who need it most, and helping build a future where every person can live free from fear and violence.

Together, we can create awareness, inspire hope, and make a difference—one story at a time. 💜

Sometimes strength looks like leaving with nothing but hope and the determination to protect your children.

It looks like walking away from fear, uncertainty, and the life you once knew — choosing an unknown future over guaranteed pain.

At A Heart to Help, we see the courage behind every survivor’s story. Leaving an abusive situation is never easy, and no one should have to face it alone.

If you or someone you know needs support, reach out. There is help, there is hope, and there are people who care ❤️

Not for expressing emotion.
Not for needing reassurance.
Not for wanting to feel safe.

Living in fear of someone’s reactions can make you question yourself.

That is not healthy love.

Healthy love feels SAFE. You deserve that. ❤️

Women are allowed to leave IPV relationships.
They are allowed to choose safety.
They are allowed to choose peace. ❤️

No one should have to stay in a relationship where they are controlled, threatened, manipulated, isolated, or harmed — emotionally, financially, physically, or psychologically.

Leaving is not selfish.
Leaving is not “giving up.”
Leaving can be the bravest and most life-changing decision a person ever makes.

At A Heart To Help, we believe every woman deserves to feel safe, respected, heard, and free to rebuild her life without fear or shame. We stand with survivors and continue working toward a community where support replaces silence. 🤍

Children may not always understand what IPV (Intimate Partner Violence) is… but they feel it. 💔

When violence, fear, manipulation, or constant conflict fills a home, children are deeply impacted — emotionally, mentally, and even physically. They may become anxious, withdrawn, angry, struggle at school, or grow up believing unhealthy relationships are normal.

A child should never have to feel unsafe in their own home.

At A Heart to Help, we believe protecting women also means protecting children. Breaking the cycle of abuse starts with awareness, support, and creating safe spaces where families can heal.

If you or someone you know is experiencing IPV, please know that help is available. Speaking up could change — and even save — a child’s future. ❤️
