🌍 Today we launch : Palliative Care for Children Everywhere.

This new global campaign, coordinated through the WHO-convened Palliative Care Working Group, shines a spotlight on the inequities that leave millions of children without access to the palliative care they need.

We’re bringing together partners, advocates, healthcare professionals and policymakers to explore how we can work together to ensure every child and family receives the support they deserve.

Together, we can help close the gap.

ICPCN is pleased to be attending the 4th Annual Palliative Care Symposium at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Lagos, Nigeria, over the coming days.

This year's theme, "Palliative Care in Practice: Communication, Spirituality, and Teaching for Sustainable Care in Nigeria," brings together professionals committed to strengthening palliative care services and improving outcomes for patients and families.

We are also delighted that our Chief Executive, Julia Downing, will be speaking at the symposium as part of this important programme.

We look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions, sharing knowledge, and learning from colleagues and partners working across the field.

It's been a fantastic few days in Ghana so far, bringing together healthcare professionals, educators and partners committed to strengthening children's palliative care.

Following the successful Train the Trainer programme, we're now focusing on the integration of the Children's Palliative Outcome Scale (C-POS) into routine clinical practice.

We're delighted that Dr Eve Namisango, Executive Director of the African Palliative Care Association, and Dr Barbara Sekyere are two of today's facilitators, sharing their expertise and experience with participants.

These photos feature some of our local Train the Trainer facilitators; Dr Barbara Sekyere and Dr Joyce Bening, PPC Practitioners, alongside ICPCN's Julia Downing and Alex Daniels; workshop participants and facilitators; and Dr Eve and Dr Barbara presenting during today's session.

It has been inspiring to see so much shared learning and commitment throughout.
