Completion of the Emergency Food Cash Assistance Activity for 56 Displaced Households in Al-Abdiyah District – Marib
As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable displaced households, , with generous support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund ( ), successfully completed the sixth and final round of unconditional emergency food cash assistance for 56 displaced households in Al-Abdiyah District – Marib Governorate.
Over the course of six consecutive monthly rounds, each beneficiary household received cash assistance of USD 100 per round, totaling USD 600. This support helped families meet their essential food needs and mitigate the impact of the humanitarian and economic challenges they continue to face.
The completion of these assistance rounds marks an important milestone in the humanitarian response, providing beneficiary households with a reliable source of cash assistance that strengthened their ability to cope with the challenges of displacement and enabled them to secure food with dignity throughout the project implementation period.
This intervention is part of the project:
"Provision of Integrated Life-Saving, Multi-Sectoral Protection, CCCM, FSAC, Health, and Nutrition Services Response for IDPs, HC, and Returnees in Al-Abdiyah, and Al Bayda city Districts."

اختتام نشاط المساعدات النقدية الطارئة للغذاء لـ 56 أسرة نازحة في مديرية العبدية – مأرب
في إطار الجهود الإنسانية المتواصلة لدعم الأسر النازحة الأكثر احتياجًا، اختتمت المنظمة العامة للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين والنفسيين اليمنيين (YGUSSWP)، وبدعم سخي من صندوق التمويل الإنساني (YHF)، تنفيذ الجولة السادسة والأخيرة من المساعدات النقدية الطارئة غير المشروطة للغذاء لـ 56 أسرة نازحة في مديرية العبدية – محافظة مأرب.
وعلى مدى ست جولات شهرية متواصلة، حصلت كل أسرة مستفيدة على دعم نقدي بقيمة 100 دولار أمريكي في كل جولة، بإجمالي 600 دولار أمريكي، بما أسهم في مساعدتها على تلبية احتياجاتها الغذائية الأساسية والتخفيف من آثار الظروف الإنسانية والاقتصادية التي تواجهها.
ويمثل اختتام هذه الجولات محطة مهمة في مسار الاستجابة الإنسانية، حيث وفر هذا الدعم للأسر موردًا نقديًا منتظمًا عزز قدرتها على مواجهة تحديات النزوح، وساعدها على تأمين غذائها بكرامة طوال فترة تنفيذ المشروع.
يأتي هذا التدخل ضمن مشروع:
"توفير الاستجابة المتكاملة والمنقذة للحياة المتعددة القطاعات من خلال الحماية، وإدارة وتنسيق المخيمات، والغذاء، والصحة، والتغذية للنازحين والمجتمع المضيف والعائدين في مديريتي العبدية ومدينة البيضاء".
