Disbursement of the Third Round of Emergency Food Cash Assistance to 300 IDP Households in Kushar District – Hajjah
To ensure continued food assistance reaches the most vulnerable displaced households, has completed the disbursement of the third round of emergency food cash assistance to 300 IDP households in Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate, with support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund ( ).
Each household received USD 100 under a six-round monthly unconditional cash transfer programme. With three rounds completed, three more remain to help households meet their basic food needs according to their priorities and living conditions.
Beyond financial support, this assistance gives households greater flexibility to identify their food needs and make purchasing decisions based on their circumstances, helping ease living costs and strengthen their ability to cope with displacement and limited resources.
This intervention is part of the project:
"Provision of Multi-Sectoral Life-Saving services Protection, FSAC, and Shelter to Protect the Most Vulnerable IDPs HHs from Negative Coping Mechanisms and Reduce Protection Risks in Kushar district."

صرف الجولة الثالثة من المساعدات النقدية الطارئة للغذاء لـ 300 أسرة نازحة في مديرية كشر – حجة
لضمان استمرار وصول الدعم الغذائي إلى الأسر النازحة الأكثر احتياجًا، تواصل المنظمة العامة للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين والنفسيين اليمنيين (YGUSSWP) تنفيذ برنامج المساعدات النقدية الطارئة للغذاء، حيث استكملت صرف الجولة الثالثة لـ300 أسرة نازحة في مديرية كشر بمحافظة حجة، بتمويل من صندوق التمويل الإنساني ( ).
وتلقت كل أسرة مبلغًا قدره 100 دولار ضمن برنامج التحويلات النقدية غير المشروطة، المكوّن من 6 جولات شهرية. ومع إتمام هذه الجولة، تكون الأسر المستفيدة قد أكملت ثلاث جولات من الدعم، فيما تتبقى ثلاث جولات أخرى لمواصلة مساندتها في تلبية احتياجاتها الغذائية الأساسية وفق أولوياتها وظروفها المعيشية.
ولا يقتصر دور هذه المساعدات على توفير الدعم المالي، بل يمتد إلى منح الأسر المستفيدة مساحة أكبر لتحديد احتياجاتها الغذائية واتخاذ قرارات الشراء وفق ظروفها الخاصة، بما يسهم في تخفيف الأعباء المعيشية وتعزيز قدرتها على مواجهة تحديات النزوح ومحدودية الموارد.
يأتي هذا التدخل ضمن مشروع:
"تقديم الخدمات المنقذة للحياة متعددة القطاعات في مجالات الحماية والغذاء والمأوى لحماية الأسر النازحة الأشد ضعفًا من آليات التكيف السلبية وتقليل مخاطر الحماية في مديرية كشر بمحافظة حجة".
