Successful Kidney Stone Removal Surgery at the Yemen Red Crescent Society – Dhamar Branch Medical Center

In a new medical achievement, the medical team at the Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS) – Dhamar Branch Medical Center successfully performed a procedure to remove a kidney stone from the renal pelvis for the first time at the center. The operation was successfully completed.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Ali Al-Shabibi, a consultant in urological surgery and endoscopy, as part of the ongoing expansion of the specialized medical services and surgical procedures provided by the Medical Center.

This achievement is part of the range of surgical procedures offered by the Medical Center, in addition to several other surgeries, including hernia repair, hemorrhoid surgery, gallbladder surgery, and appendectomies. These procedures are performed under the supervision of Dr. Radwan Al-Shammari, a consultant in general and oncological surgery, with the participation of Dr. Sahar Al-Awsh, a specialist in general surgery.

The Medical Center also provides a range of gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, removal of uterine fibroids, removal of ovarian cysts, and other ovarian procedures, as part of its specialized medical services. These procedures are performed by Dr. Sahar Al-Awsh.

This comes as part of the efforts of the Yemen Red Crescent Society – Dhamar Branch to expand the scope of medical and specialized services provided by the Medical Center and strengthen its capacity to deliver comprehensive healthcare and surgical services to the community.

نجاح عملية إزالة حصوة من حوض الكلية بالمركز الطبي للهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار
في إنجاز طبي جديد، نجح الفريق الطبي بالمركز الطبي التابع لجمعية الهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار في إجراء عملية لإزالة حصوة من حوض الكلية، وذلك لأول مرة في المركز، حيث تكللت العملية بالنجاح.
وأجرى العملية الدكتور علي الشبيبي، استشاري جراحة ومناظير المسالك البولية، في إطار التوسع في الخدمات والعمليات التخصصية التي يقدمها المركز الطبي.
ويأتي هذا الإنجاز ضمن منظومة العمليات الجراحية التي يوفرها المركز الطبي، إلى جانب عدد من العمليات الجراحية الأخرى، مثل عمليات الفتق والبواسير والمرارة والزائدة الدودية، والتي تُجرى بإشراف الدكتور رضوان الشماري، استشاري الجراحة العامة وجراحة الأورام، وبمشاركة الدكتورة سحر العوش، أخصائية الجراحة العامة.
كما يقدم المركز عددًا من العمليات النسائية المختلفة، بما في ذلك استئصال الرحم، واستئصال الأورام الليفية، واستئصال أكياس المبيض وعمليات المبايض، ضمن الخدمات الطبية والتخصصية التي يقدمها المركز والتي تجريها الدكتورة/ سحر العوش
ويأتي ذلك في إطار جهود جمعية الهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار لتوسيع نطاق الخدمات الطبية والتخصصية التي يقدمها المركز الطبي، وتعزيز قدرته على تقديم خدمات صحية وجراحية متكاملة للمجتمع.

The foundation stone was laid for the construction of the General Emergency Center of the Yemen Red Crescent Society – Dhamar Branch, alongside the foundation stone for the rehabilitation and renovation of the Society’s new Medical Center in the governorate.

The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Mohsen, Assistant Secretary-General for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the Yemen Red Crescent Society; Dr. Ahmed Al-Dailami, Secretary-General of the Society’s Dhamar Branch; and Dr. Bashir Al-Khaywani, Executive Director of the Branch.

These projects are part of the Yemen Red Crescent Society – Dhamar Branch’s efforts to develop and expand its healthcare services and strengthen its capacity to provide higher-quality and more efficient healthcare. They also seek to expand the scope of medical services and extend their reach to broader segments of the community across different areas.

The projects are expected to contribute to strengthening the Society’s healthcare infrastructure and providing an appropriate environment for the delivery of emergency and medical care services, thereby meeting the growing healthcare needs of the local community.

Dr. Mohammed Mohsen also conducted an inspection visit to the Society’s Medical Center in Dhamar Governorate, where he reviewed the services provided by the center to local residents.

وضع حجر الأساس لمشروع مركز الطوارئ وتأهيل المركز الطبي الجديد للهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار

تم وضع حجر الأساس لمشروع بناء مركز الطوارئ العامة التابع لجمعية الهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار، إلى جانب وضع حجر الأساس لمشروع تأهيل وترميم المركز الطبي الجديد للجمعية في المحافظة.
وجرى وضع حجر الأساس بحضور كل من الدكتور محمد محسن، الأمين العام المساعد للشؤون المالية والإدارية بجمعية الهلال الأحمر اليمني، والدكتور أحمد الديلمي، الأمين العام لفرع الجمعية بمحافظة ذمار، والدكتور بشير الخيواني، المدير التنفيذي للفرع.
وتأتي هذه المشاريع ضمن جهود جمعية الهلال الأحمر اليمني – فرع ذمار الرامية إلى تطوير وتوسيع خدماتها الصحية، وتعزيز قدرتها على تقديم رعاية صحية أكثر جودة وكفاءة، إلى جانب التوسع في نطاق تقديم الخدمات الطبية والوصول بها إلى شرائح أوسع من المجتمع وفي مناطق مختلفة.
ومن المتوقع أن تسهم هذه المشاريع في تعزيز البنية التحتية الصحية للجمعية، وتوفير بيئة مناسبة لتقديم خدمات الطوارئ والرعاية الطبية، بما يلبي الاحتياجات الصحية المتزايدة للمجتمع المحلي.
كما قام الدكتور محمد محسن بزيارة تفقدية للمركز الطبي لفرع الجمعية في محافظة ذمار والاطلاع على الخدمات التي يقدمها المركز للمواطنين.
