NO MBTA TRAIN SERVICE FROM WALPOLE STATION ON WORLD CUP MATCH DAYS ON THE FRANKLIN/FOXBORO LINE

Shuttle buses will replace trains on World Cup match days in Foxboro (June 13, 14, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29; July 9) on the Forge Park/495 line serving, Franklin, Norfolk, and Walpole and will run express to Canton Junction to meet Providence Line trains.

Additionally, the Route 34E bus will supplement Franklin Line service between Walpole and Forest Hills, where riders can connect to the Orange Line. More info: https://www.mbta.com/service-changes/service-changes-during-the-world-cup

Today, we pause—not for celebration, but for remembrance.

These boots represent more than service… they represent lives lived with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to something greater than self. The empty space beside them speaks to the cost of freedom—the brave men and women who never made it home.

On this Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything. We remember their names, their stories, and the families who carry their legacy forward. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we live every day.
