Maitri Charitable Trust, established in 2005 in Dombivli, Maharashtra, is a registered Public Charitable Trust dedicated to the dignity, care, and well-being of senior citizens and vulnerable individuals.

3. Current Activities
Currently, the Maitri Old Age Care Centre provides care and shelter to approximately 30тАУ35 elderly residents.
Facilities Provided:
Safe and hygienic residential accommodation
Nutritious meals and dietary care
Regular medical check-ups and medicines
Nursing and personal care support
Specialized care for bedridden patients
Emotional and psychological support
Recreational activities (bhajan, music, yoga, etc.)
The Trust also actively rescues abandoned elderly individuals from streets and provides them with shelter, treatment, and long-term rehabilitation.

4. The Need
India is witnessing a growing crisis of elderly neglect. Many senior citizens are:

To address these challenges, the Trust proposes the development of a permanent, fully equipped Old Age Care Facility.
