The SODC will be holding a Community Grants Event in the Hall on Wed 6th May from 12:15hrs to 18:00hrs. £1.5m of funding is available. There's still plenty of time to book a slot using the link shown on the poster below.

Did you know that every Wednesday morning from 10am for an hour Michele Jacobs runs a group Yoga Class in the Main Hall. Everyone is well. Each class cost £8.50 per person and she offers a Free Taster session for anyone who wants to try first.

Did you know that we have started calculating our CO2 emissions from the energy we use at the hall. So far this year, to the end of March, the hall has emitted 2.3T of CO2 to the atmosphere. With our Climate Emergency Strategy Fit4'50 we are working on sustainable ways to reduce that.

What a wonderful two nights we had at The Holton Players Dinner Evening on the 27th and 28th March. Excellent entertainment, first class food and marvellous company. Many thanks go to the Holton Players for supporting the hall with all monies received going to support the installation of our Solar PV system in August and Rejuvenation (Life Extension) of the Hall's Floor in May.

Good News - Our New Look Village Hall website is now up and running. A complete overhaul of our old format transformed into something far simpler, dynamic and easier to use. A new first for us in Holton, we're hosting a Jazz Night on the 5th June in the Village Hall to raise funds for our Solar PV Installation and Rejuvenation of the Hall floor. Please join us for a fun evening of musical entertainment from Millar & Spencer, as seen at the Edinburgh Fringe. Book on line for tickets now. Accompanied U16s free.

Return filled bags to the hall for collection.

Please join in with Holton Litter Blitz on Saturday 21st March. 10.00 am start from Holton Village Hall or join later that morning.

Bags, Hi-Viz jackets and litter pickers will be available at Holton Village Hall. Return all to the Hall including the filled bags which will be collected by SODC on Monday 23rd March.
