Happy National Coaches Week!

A huge thank you to all the coaches who give their time, energy, patience, and heart to our kids and athletes. ❤️

You’re not just teaching skills and the game—you’re teaching teamwork, discipline, confidence, resilience, and how to be a good teammate. You show up early, stay late, encourage them when things are tough, and celebrate their successes right alongside them.

So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Thank you to every coach who pours into our kids and helps them become stronger, more confident people both on and off the field. ⚽️

We appreciate you more than you know! 👏❤️

⚽ MEET COACH ROB! ⚽

If you have a son playing U5–U10 at SDU, chances are you’ll be seeing a LOT of this guy! 👋

Meet Coach Rob, our U5–U10 Boys Technical Lead. Rob will be a familiar face out on the fields this season, supporting our volunteer coaches, helping with sessions, sharing his knowledge, and making sure our players are getting the best experience possible.

And parents… consider this your friendly warning. 😏

👉 If you don’t put your hand up to volunteer, Coach Rob may find you on the field and recruit you himself! 😂

We need you! 🙌

Volunteer coaching is a great way to:
⚽ Connect with your child on the field
💙 Be part of their soccer journey
🤝 Meet other SDU families
🌱 Help build confidence, skills and a love for the game
🙌 Create memories that go way beyond the scoreboard

You don’t need to be a soccer expert. You just need to be willing to get involved. Our technical staff and coaching team are here to support you every step of the way.

Know a parent, friend, family member, or soccer-loving community member who might be interested? Tag them below or send this their way!

Let SDU be a part of your journey — and let Coach Rob help you find your way onto the field. 😉⚽

📩 Want to get involved? Contact [email protected]

We need you. Our players need you. Let’s get on the field together! 💙⚽
