The Miss Bay Area Scholarship Organization was founded in 2015 and is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We are an official preliminary to the Miss California and Miss America Organizations. The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and
its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance. The Miss Bay Area Scholarship Organization exists to:
Provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices in culture, politics and the community
Provide a forum for young women to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments to many audiences
Provide young women with a vehicle to further their personal and professional goals and instill a spirit of community service
Provide scholarship for young women to make their pursuit for a higher education possible
Our program is what is known as an open pageant and is open to women who live within the state of California and meet all of the elibigility requirements. The job of Miss Bay Area and Miss North Bay is to represent our scholarship organization at the Miss California Pageant and serve as an ambassador for our program during the year. It is surely an experience you will never forget!
