Julian Alexander (Waldo) was taken prematurely from this world on June 6, 2015 while attempting to cross Lewis River in Woodland, WA. His intention was to conquer a challenge and inspire his friends to attempt adventures. Julian (Waldo) lived every day as an adventure and welcomed challenges always facing them with enthusiam and courage. He died being himself and was in the company of his close fr
iends. Julian (Waldo) experienced many challenges throughout his short life in part because he was a sensitive and intellectual child with attention deficit disorder. He was one of the most humble children and practiced charity beyond comfort every day. In his passing there are so many stories from his teenage friends in Woodland, WA of how he helped them overcome addictions, encouraged them to graduate, helped them reconcile with their families or build new families. This fund is to help children like Julian find hope and a new beginning through education to pursue their dreams or learn how to dream. Julian (Waldo) believed in everyone living their dream or finding their dream. Julian (Waldo) helped everyone in spite of their past actions, socioeconomic status, racial or familial background as long as they were true and honest to their beliefs. The details of the scholarship trust are still being finalized, as this is a sudden and tragic event. Sharon (Sheri)Iris Sharp, Julian's Mother, is the founder and administor at this time. A Board of Trustee adminstrators will be established and the financial security and independence of the fund will also be published within the next 30 days. All monies collected will be awarded as a scholarship to troubled youth. No administrative costs will be deducted from this fund. The details of qualifying for scholarship will be published at a later date. Preference of scholarships will be given to Woodland, WA youth.
