September’s featured State Executive Council member is Dawson Wheeler!

Dawson is a junior at Louisa Muscatine High School. Dawson loves staying active and competing in sports, but basketball is definitely his favorite. He loves to collect and resell shoes. In his free time, he likes to work at his local movie theater, baby sit, help out on the farm, watch movies, and hang out with his friends, family, and dogs.

Dawson loves being involved in FCCLA and is looking forward to this year serving on the State Executive Council!

This month we are highlighting our VP of Community Service, Cecilia Sperfslage!

Cece is someone who loves staying involved and making the most of every opportunity. She strives to be a strong role model for her younger brothers, Abel and Andrew. Cece loves public speaking, networking, and sharing her energetic personality through FCCLA. You can usually find Cece in the FCS classroom, spending time with friends, or cheering on other FCCLA members. No matter what she’s doing, Cece enjoys making connections and leaving a positive impact on those around her.

When she’s not busy with FCCLA, Cece is probably at the gym or training for cross country. Cece loves to have a diet Dr. Pepper or a Cotton Candy Alani in her hand. She is always working toward new goals and opportunities, staying active, challenging herself, and making memories with the people around her. Whether she’s preparing for a race, planning a community service project, or hanging out with friends, Cece loves staying busy and involved. Cece is so excited to grow and learn as she serves as the Vice President of Community Service this year!
