> 1991: Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) Chief of Hospital Dr. Francisco Diy convinced Assistant Chief of Hospital for Administration Mrs. Bella Veloso to form a cooperative for the hospital employees’ interest and to serve the need for provision of meals and snacks of employees while on duty at the hospital.
20 employees contributed One Thousand Pesos (Php 20,000.00) each to start a c
ooperative canteen under Mrs. Veloso as canteen manager.
> In 1993: Cooperative went into lending services business with almost 300 hospital employees as cooperative members
> July 5, 1994: Cebu City Medical Center Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CCMC-EMPC) registered under the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) under Reg. CBU-1241

> December 2013: Transfer and Inauguration of the new CCMC-EMPC office at the College of Technological Sciences – Cebu building
> 2015: Change of CCMC-EMPC logo and corporate branding
> December 2016: The General Assembly approved the expansion and the change of the cooperative name to Cebu Community Multipurpose Cooperative. (CCMPC)
> March 2017: CCMPC business name and style registered under CDA
