Snacks in Sacks: Feed the homeless, feed your soul.

The mission of Snacks in Sacks is to partner with individuals, families, and organizations to collect and provide snack bags and other essentials to people who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Our events create opportunities for volunteers of all ages and all incomes to contribute to our local communities. Snacks in Sacks embraces the generosity of our community and enables people to express their caring through sharing.

Our friends at Ahrens Work Transition Program dropped off 250+ snack bags yesterday! They have been making snack bags all school year thanks to a generous contribution from Knowfully Learning Group. Thanks to the Ahrens team and KLG for their support of Snacks in Sacks!

Girl Scout Troop 1339, as part of their Bronze Award project, made and dropped off 100 wonderful snack bags today, each with a sweet note of support for our unhoused neighbors. We also received bags from several St. X families this weekend! Thanks for your support of Snacks in Sacks. ❤️

Thank you to our friends at Texas Roadhouse’s People department for making and dropping off 500 snack bags! These bags will provide a portable source of nutrition and comfort to our unhoused neighbors. Thanks for your support of Snacks in Sacks!

Event prep is underway in my house tonight. 😆 My family and I opened 21 big boxes of PopTarts from Sam's Club to ensure that our food-insecure friends have a tasty breakfast item in their snack bags this Saturday. With spring around the corner...I fully committed to Frosted Strawberry. Are you ready to join us? I start to get excited when the snacks start arriving!!!
