Service in action.

Today, members, candidates, and families of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club partnered with the Eloise Food Bank to give back to our local community and the impact was real. Together, we helped provide food and support to 205 families.

This is what it’s all about, selfless service beyond the uniform, strengthening our communities, and leading from the front.

We’re proud of our volunteers who showed up and made a difference today. Opportunities like this remind us that leadership doesn’t stop at the workplace; it extends into the communities we serve.

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club was proud to support the 29th Hospital Center’s NCO Induction Ceremony as saber bearers.

It was an inspiring ceremony and a powerful reminder of the responsibility, pride, and leadership that comes with joining the ranks of the Noncommissioned Officer Corps, the backbone of our Army. Watching these Soldiers take the step from junior enlisted to NCO was a moment that reflects the tradition, discipline, and commitment that define our profession.

Our members were honored to play a role in welcoming the Army’s newest leaders into the Corps of Noncommissioned Officers. Congratulations to all of the inductees, we look forward to seeing the impact you will make on your Soldiers, your units, and our Army.

Great turnout at this month’s Sergeants Audie Murphy Club monthly meeting! We had some great discussion and were excited to hear several new ideas from our new members and candidates. It’s always motivating to see NCOs stepping forward with initiative and a desire to make our chapter even stronger.

Looking forward to serving alongside these outstanding leaders in the future and seeing these ideas come to life.

If you’re interested in getting involved or learning more about what we do, come check us out at our next meeting 8 April at 1200. We’d love to see you there and help you find ways to get involved!

Great collaboration this week between the SAMC and BOSS (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) during this month’s Leader Professional Development (LPD).

The discussion focused on board procedures, AR 600-25, and military school opportunities, providing Soldiers with valuable knowledge and practical insight to help them prepare for boards and continue developing as leaders. It was a great turnout with engaged Soldiers asking questions and taking advantage of the opportunity to learn and grow.

A special thank you to MSG Avogaro, our SAMC Club Historian, for leading the lecture and sharing his expertise with the group. Your commitment to mentorship and professional development helps strengthen the next generation of NCOs.

Events like this are exactly what professional development is about, leaders investing in Soldiers and building a stronger force together.

We hope to see you at next months LPD!

Today the Sergeants Audie Murphy Club (SAMC) had the privilege of speaking with the graduating BLC class about our purpose, our standards, and what it truly means to serve as leaders of character in our formations.

This class was incredibly inquisitive and engaged, asking thoughtful questions and showing genuine interest in what the SAMC stands for. It was an honor to share our experiences and reinforce the importance of leadership, selfless service, and setting the example for others to follow.

A special congratulations to SPC Black, who earned the Distinguished Leadership Award. She was recognized and awarded the SAMC coin for excellent performance. This recognition reflects outstanding leadership, dedication, and the potential to make a lasting impact in our Army. Keep leading from the front and continue setting the standard for those around you.

To the entire graduating class, stay motivated, stay disciplined, and remember that leadership is not about rank, it’s about influence and the example you set every single day. The future of our Army is bright because of leaders like you.

You lead from the front!

Today marked a major milestone for our organization as the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club hosted our first SAMC-led LPD in support of the BOSS Program and the turnout exceeded all expectations.

The level of engagement and participation demonstrated just how committed our leaders and Soldiers are to professional development and to strengthening programs that directly impact quality of life across the formation.

A special thank you to 1SG Simpkins for taking the lead on this initiative and setting the standard for excellence. Your leadership, preparation, and ex*****on made this event a tremendous success.

We are truly appreciative of the overwhelming support and enthusiasm shown today. This is what it looks like when leaders step forward, collaborate, and invest in Soldiers beyond the mission.

Momentum has been built and we’re just getting started.

Today, members of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club proudly stood in support of the 593rd Relinquishment of Responsibility honoring CSM Clark as he prepares to retire after years of dedicated service.

It was a privilege to be present for such a significant milestone. CSM Clark’s career reflects steadfast leadership, commitment to Soldiers, and a legacy of service that has made a lasting impact across the formation.

The Sergeant Audie Murphy Club is built on the principles of leadership, excellence, and service and today was a reminder that honoring those who have led before us is part of that responsibility.

Thank you to all SAMC Members who showed up to represent with pride and professionalism. Your presence reflects the standard.

We wish CSM Clark and his family continued success and fulfillment in this next chapter. Your legacy endures.
