Commemorating World Refugee Day 2025 on the theme "Solidarity With Refugees", Refugee Day was celebrated across various locations of Delhi NCR.

"Peaceful Coexistence begins when we embrace diversity, build bridges of understanding, and recognize that our differences make us stronger!”

In order to foster a sense of unity and belonging amongst the refugee and host community, BOSCO Vikaspuri centre organized a Peaceful Co-existence Program that served as an opportunity to promote social integration and cultural exchange between refugees and locals by encouraging activities that facilitate interaction and understanding.

From cultural exchange activity to a fun quiz, vibrant performances by Refugee and Indian youths to diya painting competition were some of the highlights of the day. We are very grateful for the presence of several government officials who were part of the program, including, Sh. Dilip Pandey (Hon. Chief Whip, Delhi Legislative Assembly and MLA Timarpur, Delhi).

Bridging cultures and building bonds stronger! The Hornbill Youth Club along with their Indian neighbors came together for a beautiful exchange of traditions with mehendi, thanaka and snacks, celebrating differences and uniting through shared experiences while showing the youngest of the communities to respect others' culture.
