Empowering the Vulnerable:
We run empowerment programs specifically designed to support widows, widowers, and individuals living with disabilities, helping them regain self-reliance and confidence. Educational Support:
Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. We provide educational materials and accessories to indigent and underprivileged children, ensuring they have a fair chance at a better future. Access to Basic Amenities:
We carry out community development projects aimed at providing essential amenities such as clean water, healthcare, and sanitation to underserved communities, improving their overall standard of living. Scholarships and Skills Training:
We offer scholarships to deserving children from low-income families and cover the costs for those interested in vocational and skill acquisition programs. Community Intervention Projects:
We partner with local leaders and stakeholders to implement development projects that directly address the unique needs of indigent communities, paving the way for sustainable growth and improved living conditions. Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of women everywhere.

At Open Palms Humanitarian Foundation, we are committed to supporting vulnerable women in our communities. Earlier this year, we were honoured to support widows by providing essential supply bags containing food and household items such as rice, cooking oil, noodles, semovita, laundry powder and other necessities.

A small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Together with our amazing volunteers, we stand beside these strong women and continue working towards a future where everyone is supported and valued.

Widows Outreach | Open Palms Humanitarian Foundation

The journey to this village was long, uncertain, and shaped by real security risks — but turning back was never an option.

This January, we stood with widows in a remote community, some who may have lost their husbands to banditry, kidnapping, and insurgency. The pain of that loss runs deep, yet these women continue to lead their families with courage, dignity, and quiet strength.

We delivered food and essential supplies, knowing that relief is only the first step. We are now working towards a women-led social enterprise to create sustainable income, independence, and long-term stability.

This work is about more than aid. It is about dignity, agency, and hope for the future.

✨ Welcoming the New Year with Gratitude & Purpose ✨

As we step into a new year, our hearts are full of gratitude for how far Open Palms Humanitarian Foundation has come in such a short time. Born in March 2025, this year marked the beginning of a journey rooted in compassion, service, and impact.

In just our first year, we were blessed to complete two meaningful projects:

📚 Education Support in Abuja, Nigeria
This summer, we supported students in a public school by providing school books, bags, uniforms, sanitary products, shoes, and socks — and most importantly, we funded three years of tuition fees for 20 students, helping secure their educational future.

🎄 Christmas Outreach
During the festive season, we reached out to an orphanage and widows, providing essential food and household items including noodles, spaghetti, semovita, garri, oil, maggi, sugar, washing powder, and more — sharing warmth, dignity, and care during the holidays.

As we enter this new year, our mission remains clear: to do more, reach further, and help more disadvantaged people. This is only the beginning, and with continued support, we look forward to expanding our impact and touching even more lives.

Last week, Open Palms Humanitarian Foundation completed our second outreach project — a Christmas visit to an orphanage and widows in Daman Gaza Village, AMAC, FCT Abuja, Nigeria.
We provided essential food and household items to support the community during the festive season, with the aim of offering care, dignity, and practical support.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, shared, and supported this project. This is only the beginning.

This Christmas, Open Palms Humanitarian Foundation is giving back to the beautiful community of Daman Gaza Village (AMAC, FCT Abuja). We will be donating essential items to support both an orphanage home and local widows. ❤️
For the orphanage, we’re providing items such as rice, garri, oils, noodles, spaghetti, beverages, water, and more.
For the widows, we’re supplying rice, beans, noodles, sugar, salt, beverages, and other essential foods.
We believe every child and widow deserves love, dignity, and comfort — especially during the festive season. 🎄✨
This is a humble gesture, but every act of kindness makes a difference.

✨ This summer, we met two young boys whose tattered uniforms and broken shoes spoke volumes about their daily struggles.

We stepped in to help — providing new school uniforms, shoes, socks, backpacks, schoolbooks, and funding their next three years of tuition.

The smiles on their faces were priceless. 💛
Now, they can focus on learning — without the stress of wondering how to afford their education.

These are just two of the many children we’ve been privileged to support.
At Open Palms, we believe that education is power — the key to self-sufficiency and a brighter future for Nigeria. 🇳🇬📚

At Open Palms, our mission is to support those in desperate need—and we started right here in our local community. 💛

Our first project focused on school children who were struggling without basic essentials. Many had:
👕 Torn uniforms
👟 Broken shoes
📚 No school supplies
🧼 No access to hygiene products

With your support, we were able to provide:
✅ New uniforms, shoes, bags, books, and socks
✅ Sanitary products for young girls
✅ And most importantly—3 full years of tuition for 20 students in need

This is more than just help—it’s hope, dignity, and a chance at a better future. 🌟
