Collecting Cultural Information

This presentation will present three primary tools for collecting cultural information about clients: the DSM Cultural Formulation Interview (CFI; American Psychiatric Association, 2022), the Patient Cultural Identity Assessment (PCIA; Dadlani et al., 2012), and the Wright-Constantine Structured Cultural Interview (WCSCI; Wright & Constantine, 2020). In addition to walking through the structure and utility of each of these three structured interviews, the presentation will touch on identified strengths and weaknesses of each (Ang et al., in press; Constantine & Wright, 2024; Wright et al., 2023).

Kulturformuleringsintervjuet (KFI) har fått et nytt hjem hos Forskningssenter for eksistensiell helse (FEH).

Hensikten med KFI er å styrke pasienters stemme i kliniske kontekster, relatert til utredning, behandling og omsorg.
