It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Tom Moriarity. He was more than a trustee and partner in our work at the 1772 Foundation—he was a true friend, a constant source of warmth, humor, and encouragement. His deep love for historic preservation and his unwavering commitment to the field touched us all, but it was his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and gentle spirit that made him so beloved.

We will miss him dearly and are grateful for the many ways he enriched our lives. Please find his obituary below, honoring the life of someone we were so fortunate to know.
