Another end-of-summer project is cleaning and refurbishing all of the cat buildings and enclosures. We have eleven separate buildings and enclosures, and they all get pretty peaked by the end of summer. This enclosure, Pirate's Den, is for our super-special needs kitties, and it's closed all summer because of the heat. The cats can't wait to go back out in the Fall, so we got this one ready first. 🙂

What better way to start the day than watching the sweet, elderly, feral Catty Shack babies eat breakfast? 🥰

Good Morning everyone! Well, it's that time of year again, when we go from 95° heat, down to the fifties, literally overnight. We LOVE the cooler temperatures, and we have to make sure that all kitties have a warm bed, so we go through all of the previous year's bedding and see what we can re-use, or have to replace. We always try to re-use things whenever possible, and buy the warm cat houses and bedding when it's on sale in the summer. These are some of last year's houses being aired out. 🥰
