Assistance dogs are specially trained to support those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or DeafBlind.

Hearing dogs can alert their handlers to important sounds like doorbells, smoke alarms, alarm clocks, and ringing phones, while guide dogs can help individuals who are DeafBlind navigate their surroundings safely and confidently.

These incredible dogs help provide independence, safety, and peace of mind. During International Assistance Dog Week, we’re celebrating the remarkable dogs and the people whose lives they help enrich every day!
