Friends Of The North End Friends Of The North End (FONE) was organized in 1972 by a group of young men from the North End. The group has been active for 52 years.

Welcome to all members and friends of "Friends Of The North End". This organization was created by a group of about 12 young men from the North End of Boston, MA in 1972. Since that time the "FONE" has had a reunion every year. The last reunion in May of 2014 was attended by approximately 130 men. Postings will keep all "Friend" up to date on recent activities of FONE.

I found this old photo of the Stillman Street Guys, year unknown possibly sometime in the 50's.
I remember some of the names but not all.
Does anyone remember anyone in this photo.
Some of the names I remember are:

FONE 2024, 5th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER
This Holiday Season, The Friends Of The North End is again raising money for the various charitable organizations within the North End.

The charities we will be donating to are, NE Against Drugs, NE Athletic Association, NE Christmas Fund, NE Music and Performing Arts Center, Bill Faria Scholarship Fund, St. Leonard Church, NE Historical Society, Nazzaro Center,
Action for Boston Community Development NE/WE, FONE Library and St. Francis House.

We are appealing to each member to support this cause by donating to this fundraiser. Any amount is appreciated, it will make a big difference to the children and residents of the neighborhood.

Trusting you will take this opportunity to uphold the mission of FONE and reply before December 14, 2024.
