At ECMA 2026, we introduced an alumni t-shirt, featuring the name of every nominee from this year’s awards. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so we are excited to announce that we are launching alumni t-shirts for every year, all of which will be available to buy in time for Christmas. We need your help. Every eagle-eyed musician, whether you were nominated or not, is encouraged to help us make this a success. Please visit our website and submit any corrections you spot. We are accepting corrections between now and October 19. At that point, t-shirts will be finalized, and available to buy soon after.

The people behind the playlists, podcasts, platforms, and projects that support East Coast music do not always get recognized. ECMA's Creator Spotlight is changing that. This recurring newsletter feature highlights creators across Atlantic Canada who are helping artists reach new audiences, whether through digital media, community initiatives, editorial projects, or curatorial work.

If that describes you or someone you know, we would like to hear about it.
