Friends of Seward Park's monthly meeting will be held on March 8 from 9:30- 11 AM, in person at the Seward Audubon Center, or online (see below). Come join us! This month's agenda includes a visit from WSU and UW scientists to discuss research on the active sword fern die-off. We'll also host a discussion about "Big Tree," a fledgling effort, poster and website, to get the word out on Seattle's oldest and biggest creature, a Douglas fir that dates back to 1508, now seven feet in diameter.
