The last 10 days have been of great importance to our organisation. We received the entire family of my long term friend Peter T. Matla and their talented two time olympic gold medalist daughter Frédérique Matla who held a full day clinic with our children alongside the Kenya Hockey Foundation and Stefco Klaver of the Gleam Foundation.

Our partnership will enable 25 children to learn, become part of a club and train for a full year at the beginning of October 2025.

In order to continue our project operations and foster local talent, we also had the chance to visit our new project in Homabay County. Our goal is to collaborate further on the construction and development of modern playgrounds at our new school.

At Good Samaritan Children’s Home, every page turned is a step closer to a brighter future. Our small library continues to be a quiet haven where curious minds are nurtured and dreams begin to take shape. From adventure novels to academic texts, these books have become bridges to knowledge, creativity, and hope.

Thanks to the support of generous well-wishers, our children are not just reading stories , they are writing their own. If you’d like to donate books or sponsor learning resources, we’d love to hear from you!
