This morning, Wheeler Fire Department conducted a live burn training at a house off Salem Road. Trainings like this are incredibly valuable for our volunteer firefighters, giving them the opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in a controlled environment. It helps build confidence, sharpen skills, and better prepare our team to serve and protect our community when it matters most.

A special thank you to Wedington Fire Department & Central EMS for partnering with us, sharing their knowledge, and working alongside our crew. We truly appreciate the teamwork and support!

Washington County Arkansas Judge Patrick W. Deakins has issued a burn ban for Washington County.
This burn ban is in effect for all citizens of Washington County. The burn ban is in effect immediately and will be in effect until further notice.
No outdoor burning of any kind is permitted during this burn ban. This includes, but is not limited to trash, brush, and campfires. Violation of the burn ban could result in criminal charges and possible civil penalties.

This burn ban is in effect for all citizens of Washington County. The burn ban is in effect immediately and will be in effect until further notice.
