Specially Fit
We had an idea to bring together those who need assistance when going to the gym or how to correctly work out. This idea then bloomed into renting a facility, buying equipment, getting staff and of course, the people who we help.
In 2019, our expectations are to keep the vitality and exuberance going within the entire team and to add more customers. We would like to open another facility and are currently working on that but it takes funds and as a Non-Profit, we’re at a point where we really need help.
Our curriculum is set up to work for anyone: someone who has been working out and someone who has never worked out before. It is not like a regular gym where you go in and just start working out. You meet with the staff and then either work in groups on one-on-one. This is a very unique approach as it keeps people safe and we’re able to focus on their success.
To fill this particular location with more customers, we’re reaching out to our community and Special Olympics knows of our intentions and they are fully behind us. What is next is to fill this facility and then go to another city where we can open another gym.
