Last Friday, we started our New Life in Christ series by learning what it really means to have a relationship with the Lord. Sometimes, all He asks us to do is open the door. He is kind, gentle, and willing to wait for us. And honestly, โTalaga ba, Lord? Youโre really willing to wait for me?โ Who are we that He would wait for us? ๐ฅน
We were also reminded that being a Christian isnโt about being good enough to deserve God. Itโs about having a relationship with a God who is alive. Because Christ was raised from the dead, our prayers are not futile, our faith is not useless, and our decision to choose Him every day matters. And in this relationship, we are forgiven. Na-forgive ka na ni Lord. Maybe itโs time we forgive ourselves, too.
And because of Him, we are not our past, our mistakes, or the labels given to us. We are made new. So even when we are hurting, confused, or donโt understand, we can still say, โMalungkot ako ngayon, pero pipiliin ko si Lord.โ The relationship is there. The decision is ours.
