Ayyam-e-Fatimi calls us back to the most painful and silenced moments after the departure of Rasulullah ﷺ. The loss of Fadak was not just the taking of a piece of land—it was the denial of a right granted by the Prophet himself, a stand against the truth of Bibi Fatima s.a., and the beginning of the injustice that unfolded upon her doorstep.
From the confiscation of Fadak came a greater tragedy—the attack on the house of Ahlul Bayt. The door that was forced upon her, the injury she suffered, and the unborn Janabe Mohsin a.s. who was martyred before opening his eyes to the world. This was not a moment—it was a wound that changed the history of Islam forever.
In those days, grief settled over the home of Imam Ali s.a.. The children who had lost their grandfather now witnessed their mother weakening day by day. The cries of Zahra s.a. were not just of pain, but of the loneliness that came when the ummah turned away from the daughter of the Prophet saws.
As we remember the grief of aale mohammad saws, we don’t mourn as a ritual—we mourn as a stand for truth. We remember Fadak to uphold justice. We remember Janabe Mohsin a.s to honor the unseen martyr. And we remember the tears of Bibi Fatima s.a. so that her sorrow is never forgotten, her voice never silenced, and her legacy remains alive in every heart that loves Ahlul Bayt.
