Welcoming a Brother Who’s Already Living the Work

Before he was even initiated, Brother John Steenblock and his wife were already showing up—putting in time, effort, and heart during our renovation. That kind of dedication speaks volumes.

If this is any sign of what we can expect from him moving forward, it’s going to be something special to watch his journey unfold within the time‑honored traditions of Freemasonry.

On behalf of the officers and the Brothers of Crescent Lodge #25:
Welcome, Brother Steenblock.
Thank you for what you’ve already contributed to our Lodge and for the light you bring to our work.

🔷 Proud to have you among us. 🔷

Bonding Brothers continues to be a success!

Last night, Brothers and family members from 5 different Lodges came together for an evening of fellowship, conversation, and strengthening the bonds that unite us.

Events like these remind us that Freemasonry is more than a fraternity—it’s a family. The friendships we build and the connections we share extend beyond our Lodge rooms and enrich our lives in countless ways.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next gathering! 🔷🤝🔷

Today our Brothers, along with their families, gathered together for the first official event in our new home. It made the day even more meaningful because many among us have proudly served in our nation’s armed forces. Together, we paused not only as Masons, but as family, to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday. It is a time to honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives so that we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted. Their courage, service, and sacrifice are the reason we are able to gather freely, laugh with our families, create memories, and continue traditions that mean so much to us.

Today we especially remembered those Brothers who answered the call of duty — men who wore the square and compasses as well as the uniform of our country. Their labor may be complete, but their legacy and sacrifice live on in the hearts of those they touched.

We remember. We honor. We give thanks.

🇺🇸 Lest we forget.
🧭 Faithful in service, faithful in Brotherhood.

Today we pause to remember the men and women who laid down their working tools in service to something greater than themselves. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a reminder of sacrifice, duty, and the cost of the freedoms we often take for granted.

As Masons, we are taught that every man leaves behind a legacy through his actions, his character, and the lives he touches. We remember not only those who wore the uniform, but also our Brothers, family, and friends who have gone before us and helped shape our journey.

May we honor them not just with words, but by living lives worthy of the sacrifices made on our behalf.

“Their labor is complete, but their memory remains.”

🇺🇸 G.A.O.T.U. bless the fallen, their families, and our nation.

From the officers and brothers of Crescent Lodge: With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a fellow Brother who has laid down the working tools of life and gone to meet the Great Architect of the Universe.

One of the beautiful things about Masonry is that when you become a Mason, you do not simply join an organization—you become part of a family. You gain Brothers who stand beside you through triumphs and trials. Their homes become your homes, their families become your family, and around dinner tables and lodge halls we break bread together, share stories, laughter, wisdom, and life itself.

The loss of a Brother reminds us that our time here is limited, but the impact we leave on others can last far beyond our years. Every Brother’s journey tells a story—of service, sacrifice, kindness, strength, and perseverance. If we look closely, there is always something we can take away and carry forward.

Perhaps the greatest way to honor a Brother is not only to remember him, but to learn from him. Take a lesson from his walk through life. Carry forward his kindness, his dedication, his compassion, or his strength. Let his example continue to shape the men we become.

Though a chair may sit empty, a Brother is never truly gone while his lessons remain in our hearts and his memory continues through the lives he touched.

Until we meet again in that Celestial Lodge above, rest easy, Brother.

A Step Further on the Path ⚒️

Monday night was a special one for our Lodge as we gathered to witness Brother Al take his next step in Masonry. It was an honor to pass him from the degree of Entered Apprentice to the degree of Fellowcraft.

Watching a Brother transition from the "Rough Ashlar" to the "Perfect Ashlar" is a reminder to us all of the continuous work we put into shaping our own lives and characters. Brother Al is doing the work with dedication, and we couldn't be more proud to stand by his side and support his journey.

The tools are out, the lessons are being learned, and the foundation is solid. We’re already looking forward to the day we meet again to raise him to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.

Congratulations, Brother Al! Keep traveling toward the Light. 🧭✨
