I joined my fellow Leysdown Wombles to litter pick the Beach behind the Neptune’s Beach Cafe at Leysdown this morning.

I picked 2kgs of rubbish including bits of carpet, a sock, some plumbing supplies and lots of random bits of Plastic.

The group as a whole removed 30kgs, well done everyone.

I'm Back, ventured onto the beach with my trusty litter picker for the first time since my Heart Operation.

Took my 91 year old mum with me and in just an hour we picked 4.5kg of rubbish.

No really special finds but it was just lovely to be back on a beach doing what I enjoy the most.

I took part in the Annual Voluntary Beach Clean at Garrison Point, this morning, organized by Ian Arnell as part of the Keep Britain Tidy "Great British Spring Clean".

Between us all we collected ten bags of rubbish (Mine was 4.5kg in weight)

Despite being a different beach for me it was still full of all the same rubbish and nice bits.

Hit the beach again this morning up by the The Ship on Shore along Marine Parade here in .

It was very enjoyable; the sun was out, and the wind had gone.

However, there was still a lots of Micro Plastics all over the place and I managed to remove 4.5kg.

There was lots of Cotton Bud Sticks (stopped counting at 50), and an array of Tampon Applicators in varying colours plus at least 4 Cigarette lighters (none of them empty). I would love to know what the Blue things are as they were also in abundance.

I do wonder how the ASDA token got there as our nearest store is on the mainland.

Did have a few good bits to add to my growing collection and the Sea Urchin was an added bonus.

My sister Annette and I joined in with 53 other volunteers on the Beach at Minster Leas to Pick Litter.

Between us all we removed a staggering 900kg of rubbish. Mine & my sisters contribution was a not too shabby 15kg.

All the usual things like, "Plumbing Supplies", "A Tooth Brush" "Shotgun Cartridges" & other "Sanitary Wares".

Breakfast Radio Show over it was off to the Beach again for my regular Litter Pick on the way home.

Sifting through all the washed up Seaweed proved fruitful with 9kg of plastic being removed. Add to that the 7kg of the two "Rubber Mats" that I uncovered and that makes a grand total of 16kg from the two beaches.

There were also lots of Egg Cases (Mermaids Purses) today which I will now endeavour to identify from what species they come from so I can log them on the Shark Trust website.

Would also like some help identifying the "Green Mouse" and the "Blue Footballer" Please.
