Let’s talk brand deals and influencer money!

I have been very open about wanting to land more brand deals this fall so I can save $10,000 for my bowel resection next month.

Other sources of income have dried up this year so brand deals are the best bet at the moment.

But it is always my goal to be brand aligned and helpful, and so sometimes that means turning down brand deals even when u could use the money.

Savings update!

Remember when I was saving $10,000 for my upcoming bowel surgery? It’s been a minute since we had an update (it has been 32 days lol.)

Anyway I am now dabbling in futures here because these brand invoices can come in sloooooow.

But I am optimistic about October so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Real grocery shopping talk incoming!

Y’all: I know grocery prices have been high, but all signs point to “the limit does not exist” on them going higher this winter.

Wise people do not panic buy. Wise people asses their budgets and their own needs and make smart decisions.

If you can grab an extra can or two now of THINGS YOU EAT REGULARLY, you’ll probably save your future self some money.

This year taking care of my health has truly been an unpaid part time job. I’ve spent hours trying to book appointments, find in network doctors, and waiting for prior authorization.

I hate this for me! I want to see healthcare get easier in the US, not harder, and the Medicare Advantage Improvement Act of 2026 can help with that. Congressman Neal, put your name on this! Ways and Means Committee Democrats
