The SheCycle

The SheCycle SheCycle aims at influencing young girls in their early stages of high school. A motto that the SheCycle lives.

With the aim to motivate and positively guide them through high school by hosting discussions on ; Independence, s*x education, career planning, entrepreneurship, leadership. Based on what we experienced in our adolescence we noticed that there exists a huge gap between girls from different upbringings, especially those from previous model c high schools. The dissociation between adolescence and a

dulthood in the school we attended was quite alarming. This regarded matters such as decision making, responsibility and accountability to oneself with the onus only being placed on the educators and the parents. Expecting educators to increase their participation to the needs of pupils outside the school curriculum is simply unrealistic, as educators are underpaid, overworked and also having to tend to their family needs.
