He touched so many lives at South Range. May his legacy live on. Please keep Mr. Feren's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time. 💛

Raider Nation:
It’s with the heaviest hearts that we share that Donee Feren, Athletic Director and Dean of Students, has passed away.

Donee’s passion for education and the development of our young Raiders transcended every classroom and sports arena; it’s why his impact on Raider Nation is indelible. While his loss will be felt deeply in our hallways and community, it’s his legacy that will be eternally celebrated.

Don’s fight became our fight, and as we stood together to support him last Spring and again in February, we will stand together now, supporting each other as we process our grief.

Though we do not know details or any future arrangements, we are planning a moment of silence at today's basketball game and athletic events this week. Our peace and safety team is meeting tomorrow to continue to plan next steps for our entire district. We will share more information tomorrow evening.

We will hold Donee’s memory close as we navigate his tragic loss. God Bless the Feren family and each of you. Hold your loved ones a little closer today.
