Disaster Relief Team Managing Attorney Jason Susalla recently sat down with Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. to discuss how Bay Area Legal Services is helping meet the needs of rural communities and disaster survivors with our new Mobile Intake Unit!

By bringing legal services directly into communities affected by disasters, the MIU helps create pathways to justice when and where it's needed most.

Bay Area Legal Services will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 28, to celebrate the launch of its newest Veterans Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) clinic serving low-income veterans and their families at the North Pinellas VA Clinic.

The event will bring together community partners, veterans, elected officials, and supporters to recognize the expansion of free civil legal services for veterans in northern Pinellas County.
