All it takes is one piece of litter to ruin a beautiful view.

At Adopt-A-Km, we’re working to keep Barbados’ highways looking their best - from collecting litter and cutting back overgrown bush to mowing the grass along our adopted stretches of highway.

And we couldn’t do it without our amazing sponsors. With their support, we’re able to give our highways the care and attention they deserve.

Powered by the sun! Visible day & night!🌙

Our signs are equipped with solar panels that harness the sun’s energy during the day and power the signs at night. This gives your brand 24/7 visibility on the highway.

More visibility. More impact. One KM at a time.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is how businesses give back by making decisions that benefit people, communities and the environment while operating responsibly and ethically.

By investing in environmental initiatives like sponsoring a kilometre of Barbados’ highways companies can make a visible, lasting impact while demonstrating their commitment to a cleaner, greener Barbados. 🇧🇧🌿

Every KM adopted helps keep our roads, communities and waterways cleaner for everyone.

Did you know? 👀

The litter you see on our highways doesn’t just disappear. Plastic bottles, bags and wrappers can take years to decompose.

Every year, AAKM removes 15,000+ pounds of garbage from our highways. It’s our mission to help keep our roads safer, cleaner and more beautiful🍃
